The Keep sharing reliable checklist
What each item means and why it matters.
When something on your phone could stop sharing, ZoneCircle shows a Keep sharing reliable checklist. Work through anything not marked Already fine.
- Location: Allow all the time. Needed to share while the app is closed.
- Precise location. Approximate location can be kilometres off.
- Physical activity. Lets the phone notice when you start moving.
- Battery: Unrestricted. Stops Android pausing ZoneCircle in the background.
- Power saving off. Power saving turns GPS off whenever the screen is off.
- Background data allowed. Lets your position reach your circle while the app is closed.
- Notifications allowed. Android needs ZoneCircle's quiet notification to keep it running.
- Location turned on. Your phone's main location switch.
You can choose Remind me tomorrow or Don't ask again. On iPhone there is nothing to set.
